1. Discuss what you thought about creating the Value Scale and Color Wheel.
I enjoyed making both of them. I like how we made a form of art in the homework assignment.
2. Which media did you enjoy working with the best and why?
I honestly like working with the value media better, of pencils and sketching and shading my artwork. I always have. I feel like that is where my strongest spots are when I am drawing and it gives me a lot of joy. By sketching and shading it is like I am giving my artwork some pop and making it come more to life and be less flat.
3. What was the most important discovery in the creation of these studies?
The most important discovery in these creations is knowing that a little makes a big difference. For value, it depends on how much pressure you put or not to get the shade you want. While for the color wheel it is knowing that you only need 3 colors to mix together and you can make a lot more colors and tints of colors on the color wheel.
4. What is the most important information you learned from watching the videos for this project? What is your opinion of the videos?
I learned that the primary color was not what I thought they were. They are cyan, yellow and magenta. I liked how simple and short the video was too. The video had no voice and just words yet the picture helped to able to understand what was happening.
